CMF-A

Common Module Family – A

The A-segment budget platform of Renault–Nissan, developed for the petrol Kwid and later adapted to carry an electric drive (Renault City K-ZE, in Europe the Dacia Spring). Not a dedicated skateboard: the pack sits in a converted combustion floor, not as a flat floor. The Spring was for years the cheapest EV in Europe. For CarMatch very affordable and with high volume, but with modest range, low power and slow DC charging — check the battery health carefully.

CMF-A is the EV platform of Renault–Nissan, in production since 2021, with a 400V architecture. The CMF-A platform carries 1 model from 1 brand. The WLTP range of the current variants on CMF-A is 226 km.
