MFA2
Modular Front-drive Architecture 2MFA2 is Mercedes' compact front-wheel-drive platform: the same floor pan on which the petrol and diesel versions of the A-Class, B-Class, GLA and GLB also stand. The EQA and EQB are therefore converted combustion cars, not dedicated EVs — the battery pack sits beneath a body not drawn for a flat skateboard floor, which yields a higher boot floor. Relevant for CarMatch: EQA and EQB are very common lease returns, and the 4Matic versions have a second motor on the rear axle.
