EMP2 V3
formerly PSA EMP2EMP2 V3 is Stellantis' multi-energy platform for the compact mid-class: the same body of the Peugeot 308, Opel Astra, Peugeot 408 and DS N°4 is sold as petrol, diesel, mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric. It is therefore a converted combustion platform, not a dedicated EV skateboard — the traction battery sits in the adapted floor pan and intrudes into the boot, which is why the electric version swallows less luggage than the petrol sibling. For a used-car buyer: the range is reasonable but the charging speed is modest against an equally priced, equally large dedicated EV.
