MRA

Modular Rear Architecture

MRA is Mercedes' classic rear-wheel-drive platform for the C-Class, E-Class and GLC. The EQC from 2019 was Mercedes' first EV and is a converted GLC: petrol and diesel versions of that same car drive around on exactly this architecture. Not a dedicated skateboard, then — the pack is fitted around a floor with a centre tunnel. Relevant for CarMatch: the EQC is a common lease return, was built for only five years and charges slower than the later, dedicated Mercedes EVs.

MRA is the EV platform of Mercedes-Benz, in production since 2019, with a 400V architecture. The MRA platform carries 1 model from 1 brand. The WLTP range of the current variants on MRA is 417 km.
