Global Electrified 1Ford's first purpose-built EV platform, developed for the Mustang Mach-E: a real skateboard with the battery pack flat between the axles, standard rear-wheel drive and an optional second motor up front. Apart from the Explorer and Capri, which sit on VW's MEB, this is Ford's own electric base. 400V; the Standard Range uses LFP, the long-range versions NMC.
