Electric-Global Modular PlatformThe 800V pioneer of Hyundai Motor Group: ultra-fast charging, a V2L socket on board, and one architecture from the Ioniq 5 to the large seven-seaters EV9 and Ioniq 9. Important when comparing: under the same name, Kia also runs a 400V branch with front-wheel drive. EV2, EV3, EV4 and EV5 carry the E-GMP label, but charge noticeably slower than the original 800V models with rear-wheel drive.
E-GMP is the EV platform of Hyundai Motor Group, in production since 2021, with a 800V · 400V (EV2–EV5) architecture. The E-GMP platform carries 11 models from 3 brands. The WLTP range of the current variants on E-GMP runs from 317 to 680 km.
